- Manage FP&A operations globally, starting from existing scope for North America, including the support in development and implementation of strategic plans, goals, and objectives.
- Build the global capacity and capabilities
- Take active part as key contributor in Solution / Transition & Transformation to later lead the GBS Operations once scope is transferred
- Oversee the FP&A teams and provide leadership and guidance.
- Ensure activities provided are within agreed Service Level Agreements.
- Maintain regular interactions with key stakeholders to identify key focus area & align on priorities.
- Direct and control the broad activities of the business unit through the interpretation, application and implementation of company-wide policies and processes appropriate to the functional area.
- Ensure reporting, supporting activities, supporting analyses and schedules are within company requirements with significant organizational responsibility for the overall control of planning, staffing, budgeting, expense priority management, and recommendation and implementation changes of current methods.
- Contribute to the development and implementation of improved policies and procedures within the assigned functional area.
- Participate in cross-functional and cross-divisional finance transformation activities focused on process improvement opportunities within the planning, forecasting and accounting cycles.
- Provide leadership, guidance and coaching for all direct reports to maintain an engaged and productive workforce; partnering with Human Resources on employee matters.
- Collaborate with employees in the establishment of clear and concise development plans to ensure succession planning and the advancement of future leaders within the organization.
- Assist with various projects as assigned.
Quality, Legal & Compliance
- Follow and comply with all relevant FME policies, guidelines, manuals and SOPs in the version as amended from time to time (“FME Policies”),
- Keep yourself updated about the current version of the FME Policies that are relevant for your role and integrate corporate values in daily business, Compliance with SSC’s internal procedures and instructions.
Our requirements:
- Academic degree or equivalent diploma in relevant subject matter
- 10+ years’ related experience.
- 5+ years’ experience as a Manager; or 5+ years’ experience in a senior managerial role
- Excellent communication skills with strong intercultural skills and understanding
- Excellent social competence paired with persuasiveness and self-confidence, high level of energy and positivity based on a sincere personality
- Excellent leadership skills and management techniques following good leadership principles
- Team Player with a strong drive to create positive work environment, able to motivate and empower employees
- Passion for continuous learning, ability to solid comprehension and fast familiarization with new and complex tasks
- Good skills to set priorities and self-manage high volume workload
- Ability to think strategically and take qualitative decisions even under changing conditions or conflicting requirements
- Very structured way of working with strong focus on efficient and effective processes even under pressure
- Highly professional attitude characterized by a result, quality, patient and customer oriented working style
- Hight level of change, negotiation and conflict management skills
- Manage and monitor performance against service level agreements
- Detailed knowledge of general accounting, close, budgeting, forecasting, cash flow and analysis processes.
- Strong computer skills with advanced proficiency in word processing, spreadsheet, presentation and email applications.
- Demonstrated proficiency with business warehouse systems (e.g., BEx, SAP, etc.).
- Fluency in the English language in the business environment
- Fluency in additional European language beneficial
- Working for an international company with international standards
- Travelling within the region and international across different time zones
- Strong management skills with the ability to lead cohesive and productive teams.
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate with all levels of management through diplomacy and tact.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
