Job Title: 1:1 Teaching Assistant

Do you have a passion for supporting children with additional needs?

Randstad Education is currently seeking a dedicated and empathetic 1:1 Teaching Assistant to provide individualised support to a primary school pupil. This is a meaningful role where you’ll have the chance to positively impact a child’s educational journey.

Key Responsibilities

* Deliver tailored one-to-one support based on the pupil’s individual learning plan

* Assist with classroom routines while fostering an inclusive and encouraging environment

* Provide behavioural and emotional support as needed

* Collaborate with teaching staff to implement effective learning strategies

* Monitor and report on the child’s progress to staff and parents

What We’re Looking For

* Previous experience supporting children, ideally in a 1:1 or special educational needs (SEN) setting

* Excellent communication skills, patience, and a nurturing approach

* A proactive, adaptable attitude with a genuine enthusiasm for education

* A strong commitment to safeguarding and promoting the wellbeing of pupils
