Randstad Education is looking for a compassionate and committed 1:1 Teaching Assistant to provide personalised support to a pupil in a primary school setting. This is a rewarding opportunity to make a meaningful difference in a child’s education and development.

About the Role:

As a 1:1 Teaching Assistant, you’ll work closely with the class teacher and SENCO to support a pupil with specific learning needs. Your role will be essential in helping the child access the curriculum, build confidence, and reach their full potential.

Key Responsibilities:

* Provide tailored, one-to-one support to meet the pupil’s individual needs

* Support classroom routines and maintain a nurturing, inclusive environment

* Offer emotional and behavioural guidance where required

* Help implement personalised learning plans in collaboration with the teaching team

* Track progress and provide regular feedback to staff and parents

What We’re Looking For:

* Experience supporting children, ideally in a 1:1 or SEN capacity

* Empathy, patience, and strong communication skills

* A flexible, positive mindset with a genuine passion for helping young learners thrive
