Offer DescriptionThe post is for a permanent position. The area of research is Heart Surgery:
Requested research duties: activities in the field of general, pediatric and prenatal cardiac surgery with specific expertise in functional and instrumental semeiotics, methodology and therapy in traditional, minimally invasive, replacement, reconstructive and transplant cardiac surgery
Requested teaching duties: the teaching activity, in line with the annual teaching program of Centre for Medical Sciences, will be in the scientific disciplinary sector MED/23 or related areas
Requested clinical duties: carrying out care activities in the complex structure of Cardiac Surgery of Provincial Agency for Health Services, developing multidisciplinary, innovative surgical programs and inter-institutional collaborations, with special expertise in emergency surgery, advanced heart failure, arrhythmias and mitral valvulopathy with minimally invasive approaches.
Qualifications required for carrying out the assistance activity: Degree in Medicine and Surgery with a Specialization in Heart Surgery or equipollent discipline and Registration in the Italian Order of Surgeons and Dentists;
Maximum number of publications to be presented: 16.RequirementsSpecific RequirementsApplications are welcome from candidates with the following qualifications: a) candidates who have passed the Italian National Academic Qualifications Procedure (Abilitazione Scientifica Nazionale) as per Article 16 of Law no. 240/2010 for the subject sector 06/E1 or one of the subject sectors included in the same wider subject sector 06/E and for the academic level that is the subject of the selection procedure; b) candidates who got the qualification “idoneità” according to “Legge 210/1998” for the position corresponding to Full Professor, provided the qualification is still valid; c) candidates already employed as Full Professor in other universities; d) scholars who are permanently employed in research or teaching activities at university level outside Italy in positions which are equivalent to “Full Professor” (according to ministerial equivalences).
The Degree in Medicine and Surgery with a Specialization in Heart Surgery or equipollent discipline and the Registration in the Italian Order of Surgeons and Dentists are required.Additional InformationAdditional commentsCandidates should apply through the online procedure that the University of Trento provides.
