Dive into the life of one division!

As a pure player, L’Oréal intends to offer the right product to the right consumer, through different paths. During your apprenticeship, you will have the chance to discover the secrets of a division and the reasons for its success:

Consumer Product Division: embrace the universe of a fast-paced environment which accounts for 50% of L’Oréal turnover and have an impact on the products you will see on the shelves of your next-door supermarket

Luxury division: high-quality formulas, breath-taking experiences, premium and personalized products are the key for the timeless success of our international luxury brands

L’Oreal Dermatological Beauty Division: health is the future of beauty. Turning science into beauty is the mantra of our 6 Active Cosmetics brands, and this has been made possible thanks to our powerful innovation & the passion of our professional experts such as dermatologists, pharmacists and medical advisers.

Professional Products Division: the historical division of L’Oréal is now all about transformation, disruptive trends and colorful creativity. Our brands from Professional Products Division live through the expertise of our hairdressers & beauty specialists, distributing our diverse brands through beauty and hair salons

What missions are we talking about?

Within the commercial department of a division, you will be able to work on one of the following missions (we will discuss more about what you would prefer to do during the HR interview)

Data analyst Luxury Division

• Ensure data quality for our 18 Luxury brands and some 20 distributors
• Implement a data quality strategy to detect and correct errors effectively
• Support change management by raising awareness of data quality among our business staff
• Create data quality monitoring reports in Power BI.
• Implement alerting processes for data correction
• Support Power BI applications (incidents & upgrades)
• Participate in business needs gathering workshops (information restitution).
• Support and promote new digital tools to key users

Business Analyst Dermatological Beauty Division

Working within the L’OREAL DERMATOLOGICAL BEAUTY division, this apprenticeship reports to the Business Development Director and aims to contribute to the following missions:

1. Develop a category management approach

• Analyze the sell-out of the beauty and dermatological markets (Face Care, Cleansing, Body Care, etc.). Analyses by market, by category (Face Care, Cleansing, Body Care, etc.), by country, by competitor to a) understand market dynamics, b) identify opportunities, c) project the market and d) draw up recommendations for Europe and by country.
• Contribution to the monthly comex note
• Preparation of key European zone meetings

2. Improve Dermatological Category expression 

• Offline expression = execution, metrics, roll-out, 3Y roadmap …
• Online expression = analyze medical Ux expression of EU e-retailers and follow up pilots.
• Host European retailers in our retail lab to evangelize them about the Dermatological Category.

3. Developing pharmacies

• Position the pharmacist as a health care professional and identify all the touchpoints for developing Dermatological Catgory recommendations.
• Identify country needs to upskill pharmacists a) in terms of associated advice and b) in terms of business.
• Develop a roadmap to engage pharmacy in a sustainable transformation via our “pharmacies for the future” program.
