Techyon is the Head Hunter specialising exclusively in the search and selection of senior professionals and managers in the Information Technology.About the Company: For a multinational specialized in the research, development, and production of mechatronic components and systems, our Recruitment Engineers are looking for an AS/400 Programmer Analyst with EDI expertise.Core Responsibilities:

• Analyze business requirements and translate them into technical solutions on the AS/400 platform.
• Develop, test, and maintain EDI applications and interfaces with external systems.
• Manage EDI communications with business partners, ensuring accurate data transmission.
• Support troubleshooting activities and resolve issues related to EDI integrations.
• Collaborate with development and operations teams to optimize processes and implement improvements.
• Document developed solutions and keep operational procedures up to date.

Job requirementsMust Have:

• Proven experience as an analyst/programmer on the AS/400 (iSeries) platform.
• In-depth knowledge of EDI systems and main standards (EDIFACT, X12, etc.).
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Solid experience with programming languages such as RPG, CL, SQL on AS/400.
• Experience developing web services in RPG.
• Experience developing EDI integrations in XML format.
• Experience with communication procedures using FTP/SFTP protocols.
• Ability to work in a team and communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Excellent written and spoken English, to interact with international partners and teams.
