The Pathology Department provides patient diagnosis, including cancer diagnosis, for the majority of scheduled care specialties e.g. Breast, Gynaecological etc.Pathology Department is based over two sites, this post will be nominally based at the RIE site.Tasks within the role include fast, accurate audio typing of patient Biopsy / Autopsy reports and letters using a digital dictation system (Winscribe), collation of slides, reports and audit sheets for Consultant MDT (Multi-disciplinary Team) meetings.Minute-taking experience is essential and experience must be described in application to progress to shortlisting.Successful candidates must have previous relevant experience working as part of a team, excellent keyboard / communication skills, Microsoft Word and audio/digital dictation experience.For further information please contact:Sarah Mortimer 0131 242 7171 or Nichola Wilson 0131 242 7082**Please note: we anticipate a high level of interest in this position and may close the vacancy early once a sufficient amount of applications are received.
