Offer Description
To better understand the influence of extracellular matrix remodeling and phenotypic plasticity in melanoma biology and resistance to treatments. Be an independent scientist dealing with in vitro and in vivo experiences in several pre-clinical models of melanoma. Developing and executing key experiments to study new regulatory mechanisms and test new hypothesis to improve our knowledge in melanoma microenvironment and drug resistance and offer innovative therapeutic approaches to target the tumor matrix

Skills/Qualifications
Develop, design and execute key experiments to achieve objectives of the project
High levels of autonomy, creativity and the ability to assume a high level of responsibility
Scientific rigor and strong communication skills
Strong interpersonal and mentoring skills needed to effectively deal with students and people of the collaborating groups
Specific Requirements
Hands-on experience of cell biology, molecular biology and extracellular matrix analysis will be prioritized. An independent use of the confocal microscope, seahorse analyzer and multi-color flow cytometer as well as competencies in image analysis is expected.
Expertise in tumor cell signaling, cellular interactions and tumor metabolism will be a plus
Strong scientific background in melanoma biology will be appreciated
Sufficient background knowledge in in vivo experiments (mice)
Experience in editing and writing original research articles and grant applications is an asset
