As an activity leader in the homework café, you help to establish the basic elements of the homework café and are responsible for operations, so that we can ensure that young people can get help with their homework in a pleasant setting. Whi…Lektiecafeen on Lundtoftegade in Nørrebro is a pleasant offer for all children and young people who could think of extra help professionally. Our primary goal is to create a safe community for everyone, where laughter, fun and togetherness are at the center.The homework café is open on Wednesdays from 4:00 – 6:00 p.m.What are you going to do?As an activity leader, you are also a homework helper together with the other young volunteers, but in addition you are responsible for:

• Making shift plans
• The communication between the Red Cross of the Youth, the partner associated with the homework cafe and the volunteers.
• Operation of the homework cafe.

You will get a good introduction to becoming an activity manager at the cafe and meet the other volunteers. You will have the opportunity to spar with other activity managers in the local area, i.a. through courses and voluntary events.It is not necessary to be at the homework cafe every time, but at least once every two weeks.We expect you to:

• Is sweet and welcoming.
• That you are responsible and have the courage to take on the leadership role.
• Set aside 10-15 hours for voluntary work per month.
• Participates in staff meetings with the other volunteers.
