The Department of Sport Science resides within the School of Science and Technology and there are excellent collaborative opportunities with colleagues in Biosciences including the John Van Geest Cancer Research Centre, Chemistry and Forensics, Computing and Technology, Engineering and in Mathematics and Physics. Nottingham Trent University has a long and established history of delivering sport-related programmes.  Currently, the Department comprises 54 academic staff and ~40 PhD research students, as well as large undergraduate and taught postgraduate cohorts.  Recent investment into the Department has enhanced our physical resources, research environment and student learning experience.
