About Us

The Office for Institutional Equity (OIE) is the first department of its kind in the UK. It has specific responsibility for addressing inequalities within the institution by creating sustainable cultural changes that will positively impact the University community. About the Job

You will work in close collaboration with the Dean of the OIE to provide academic leadership and direction to Schools and Academics, fostering a positive and proactive culture of continuous improvement, professional development and partnership working.

You will also lead on designing, implementing, and advocating for inclusive academic practices including supervision of OIE projects aimed at delivering institutional access and participation (APP) targets. What’s more you will work in close collaboration with the Dean of the OIE to oversee development of training/education programmes aimed at increasing awareness, knowledge and skills on various aspects of diversity and equity.
