Academic Liaison Librarian (Health and Social Care)

Applications are invited for the permanent, full-time post of Academic Liaison Librarian at Oxford Brookes University. The successful candidate will join our highly-regarded Health and Life Sciences (HLS) team and will support students at our Headington campus (and Swindon on occasion as required). The post covers HealthCare subjects at undergraduate and postgraduate levels, including Nursing.The candidate must be educated to first or postgraduate level in library and information studies, or have equivalent experience, and have excellent communication and information retrieval skills.The successful candidate will be highly competent in effective online searching across a range of subject areas and delivering information literacy training, both face-to-face and online.Key responsibilities will include:
