Salary: Grade 6 (£29,762 – £35,308 p.a. depending on experience)

This role will be based on the university campus, with scope for it to be undertaken in a hybrid manner. We are also open to discussing flexible working arrangements.

We are looking for an Access Management Consultant to join our Cyber Security team at a leading Russell Group University undergoing one of the most exciting digital transformations in the education sector, with cyber security at the very core of our vision.

You will support the Identity and Access Management team in activities related to the provision of digital identity services throughout the University, working with services such as Access Management (AM), Identity Governance and Administration (IGA), Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA) and Privileged Access Management (PAM).

As an Access Management Consultant, you will be responsible for supporting the Identity and Access Management onboarding process as well as onboarding practices for Privileged Access Management in terms of applications.

The University is currently transforming its identity and access management processes.  You will join the project team and support this transformation and eventually take on the responsibility of becoming the owner of user, system, and application Access Management processes.

The successful applicant will have the opportunity to complete either an Apprenticeship or Training Grade. It is anticipated that this will be over a three-year timescale and on satisfactory completion of the route selected the individual will advance to University of Leeds grade 7.
