Job Title: Account Assistant

Hours: Monday – Friday 9am-5:30pm with half an hour unpaid lunch.

Salary: GBP27,500 per annual (GBP13.22ph)

Location: Burton on Trent

We are currently recruiting for an experienced Account Assistant to join our longstanding client on a permanent basis!

What will I be doing?

* Processing of sales invoices and receipts in a timely manner.
* Conduct reconciliations of bank statements and accounts to ensure accuracy.
* Collaborate with team members to ensure compliance with financial regulations and policies.
* Sending statements to clients
* Checking and posting of wage invoices

Skills required:

* Previous experience in a finance or accounting role is preferred but not essential.
* Familiarity with Sage and Xero accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel, is preferred.
* Strong numerical skills with attention to detail and accuracy.
* Excellent organisational skill with a capacity to manage multiple tasks effectively.
* Good communication skills, both written and verbal, to interact with colleagues across various departments.
* A proactive approach to problem-solving and willingness to learn new processes.
