We’re recruiting on behalf of a leading supplier in their field who are looking for a proactive Account Manager to their growing team in Henfield.Role Overview:
As Account Manager, you’ll act as the main point of contact for key customers and accounts – handling everything from enquiries and quotes to maintaining relationships and identifying new opportunities. You’ll play a vital role in both retaining existing business and securing new clients through outbound sales activity, networking, and trade event attendance.Key Responsibilities:

• Be the primary point of contact for key customers and account enquiries
• Provide quotes and follow up to convert into sales
• Resolve any issues around pricing or delivery with professionalism
• Maintain and grow strong relationships with customers to retain business
• Attend customer meetings, industry trade shows, and networking events
• Make outbound sales calls to generate new business opportunities
• Upsell and cross-sell products based on customer needs
• Support commercial pricing decisions through negotiation and customer insight

The Ideal Candidate:

• Proven experience in sales and customer service, ideally with telesales exposure
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and time management skills
• A proactive and flexible attitude, with willingness to travel for off-site meetings and industry events
• Experience in or knowledge of the electrical sector is a bonus but not essential

What’s on Offer:

• Salary of £26,500 – £28,000 DOE with OTE up to £35,000pa
• Monday to Friday, 8:30am – 5:30pm with a 1-hour lunch break
