Join an organization that ensures a more secure world through connecting and protecting our customers with inventive electrical solutions.As an Accountant within nVent, you will be handling general ledger activities such as posting journals, accruals, provisions, revaluations, account reconciliations, inventory and fixed asset accounting.IN THIS POSITION YOU WILL:Coordinate AP and AR functions from a statutory compliance perspectivePerform month-end closing activities according to US GAAPConduct BS reconciliation and analysisEnsure VAT compliance, check invoices in cooperation with the Shared Services Center, supporting the preparation of VAT returns, intrastat reportingPrepare statistical, national bank and statutory reportingSupport internal and external statutory auditActively participate in the automation and standardization of financial processes!YOU HAVE:Academic background in Finance, Accounting or related fieldsIdeally approx. 3 years of experience in similar position; previous experience with manufacturing accounting would be preferredPractical knowledge of Polish accounting standards and tax regulationKnowledge of MS Office, M3 – would be an asset!Language skills: Polish, English (intermediate or above)WE HAVE:A dynamic global reach with diverse operations around the world that will stretch your abilities, provide plentiful career opportunities, and allow you to make an impact every daynVent is a leading global provider of electrical connection and protection solutions.
