We are supporting a global medical technology company in hiring a General Accounting Manager for its Shared Services hub in Flanders. This leadership role is ideal for finance professionals who combine operational excellence with strategic thinking and who are motivated to drive transformation in an international environment.Your Responsibilities:Lead and develop a team of General Accounting professionals (Record to Report)Ensure VAT compliance and oversee account reconciliationsChampion SOX and internal control complianceMonitor SLA and KPI performanceSupport global tax, treasury, and reporting processes with cross-functional teamsDrive transformation projects, including automation and system upgradesPromote a strong culture of continuous improvement, collaboration, and accountabilityYour Profile:Degree in Accounting, Finance, or similar fieldMinimum 7 years of progressive experience in finance, including team leadershipStrong expertise in VAT, reconciliations, SOX compliance, and RTR processesFluency in English (spoken and written), strong interpersonal and communication skillsAdvanced Excel skills; SAP experience is a strong plusResilient, analytical mindset and proactive leadership styleThe Offer:Permanent position with one of the global leaders in medical technologyOn-site role in Erembodegem (min. 4 days/week)Career growth in an international and innovation-driven environmentHealth & wellness benefits, pension contributions, and development opportunities📧 Interested?
