Accounts Assistant

Location: Dover

Salary: A£28,000 – A£30,000 per annum

Hours: Monday – Friday 9am to 5:30 pm

The Role

* Perform all accounts reconciliation to ensure accuracy and completeness
* Purchase and sales ledger
* Maintain spreadsheets for costing
* Credit Control
* Support month-end and year-end closing activities
* Invoicing and tying up paperwork CMR’s etc
* Investigate invoices/queries
* Stock control
* General office duties, this position is office based and not working from home

Skills and Qualifications

Training will be provided but the following skills are essential for any successful applicant:

* 2 years’ experience desirable
* Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices
* Proficient in Sage and would benefit knowing Roadfreight
* Excellent attention to detail, accuracy, and organisational skills
* Work on their own and within a team
* Strong organisational skills
