We have a fantastic opportunity to join a client in Co Meath, you will be joining a busy and thriving team! This is an office-based role in Co Meath. You will work with in a team environment, great growth and promotions within this finance team! You will report directly to the Senior Accountant This is a permanent contract.

Responsibilities of Role:

• Processing banking payments and receipts, reconciling multiple bank accounts and investigating any discrepancies
• VAT, VIES, Intrastat for ROI and UK companies
• Inter-company expense recharges and VISA expense reconciliations
• Accounts Payable -processing of purchase invoices, reconciliation of creditors accounts
• Assisting in the preparation of monthly management accounts, including month end procedures and reconciliations
• Various other ad-hoc reporting as and when required by finance.

Requirements of Role:

• Part-qualified Accountant/Accounting Technician
• Previous experience within an Accounts Assistant role
• 1-2 years’ experience of working in a busy Finance department
• Excellent attention to detail is essential for this role
• Detailed knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Word
• Have the ability to work effectively in a team environment as well as under pressure.
• Have excellent interpersonal and written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work on your own initiative.
• Be methodical and organised.
• Have the ability to multi task effectively and work within strict deadlines
