Accounts Assistant

A£26,000 – A£30,000

Working Hours: 08:30 – 17:30 Full time, Office Based.

Hawk 3 Talent Solutions are working with an established and well recognised flooring business who are looking to expand on their finance team by welcoming a Finance Assistant/ Accounts Assistant to the business.

Main Responsibilities of the Accounts Assistant

Sales Ledger

* Customer invoicing and sending statements
* Bulk sales invoicing
* Chasing payments
* Online sales payment reconciliations
* Raise queries with sales teams or other departments on incomplete sales orders, chase up and resolve

Purchase Ledger

* Checking supplier statements
* Chasing missing purchase invoices,
* Resolving supplier / statement queries,
* Balance statements to the system
* Assist with Accounts Inbox as required, particularly at busy periods
* Cover for Company credit card reconciliations and Paypal

General Admin duties

* Scanning, filing, answering calls and other duties as required within the finance team

Experience and Skills required

* The ideal candidate would hold a finance degree (AAT) – not essential.
* Experience of sales and purchase ledger
* Excellent attention to detail
* Highly skilled within Excel.
