RIGHT NOW.Due to the development of John Deere Polska Business Service Center in Poznań we are currently seeking candidates for the position of:​Accounts Payable AccountantPoznań,PolandYour responsibilities:​

• Process invoices from internal and external suppliers
• Review and reconcile vendor account balances
• Contact internal and external customers via email and telephone
• Monitor payments and invoices to get them processed timely
• Collaborate with others focusing on standardization of tasks

​Our requirements:

• Communicative English and French language skills
• Interest in accounting/financial area
• Good organization of working time
• High communication and teamwork skills
• Degree in Finance/Accounting or similar

​Nice to have:​

• SAP experience
• Experience in business use of MS Excel
• Experience in AP/AR area
• Analytical skills and affinity to numbers

Major PurposePerforms complex clerical accounting duties involving routine and non- routine calculations and analysis, reconciliations, verifications, and postings while ensuring accuracy and validity in the accounting processes. • Produce accurate reports for others by collecting data from a variety of standard sources and inputting it into standard formats.
• Use data management systems to access specific information as and when required.
• Create a local document management system for an office or department.
• Prepare moderately complex documents using a variety of applications for technology devices, such as standard office software. Also responsible for gathering and summarizing data for reports.
• Monitor and analyze data using established finance systems and protocols.
• Extract and combine data to generate standard reports.
• Develop knowledge and understanding of the organization’s policies and procedures and of relevant regulatory codes and codes of conduct to ensure own work adheres to those standards. Obtain authorization from a supervisor or manager for any exceptions from mandatory procedure.
• Develop own capabilities by participating in assessment and development planning activities as well as formal and informal training and coaching. Develop and maintain an understanding of relevant technology, external regulation, and industry best practices through ongoing education, attending conferences, and reading specialist media.
