Accounts Receivable Accountant will prepare complex billing documentation in accordance with contractual terms and will partner with customer project teams to assure a high-quality invoice is issued to the customer. Duties also include cash collection via e-mail, processing of cash application queries, invoice corrections and updating reports with processing notes.Accounts Receivable Accountant reports to AR Team leader within SSC structures based in Poland.Responsibilities:

• Partner with the project manager and project teams to issue high quality customer invoices that are generated and issued in accordance with internal control requirements.
• Assure that sales orders, billing plans and related billing milestones for scopes of work are processed in a timely manner.
• Understand and be able to address the cash application related issues.
• Ensure timely collections of receivables by investigating and resolving past due payments, duplicate/ short payments, or unallocated cash.
• Maintain explanations for aging receivables on the accounts receivable weekly report.
• Routinely review the missed billing report and follow up on past due milestones.
• Take proactive steps to ensure invoices are properly sent and received by the customer and moved to accounting.
• Provide timely and insightful reporting to support decision-making processes
• Maintain proper documentation needed for internal controls.
• Serve as backup to other Accountants when needed.
• Perform ad hoc duties to assist the business.

Requirements:

• 1-2 years of experience in Finance area
• Knowledge of SAP
• Very good knowledge of English language
• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or Finance
• Detail oriented with a high degree of accuracy
• Take the initiative to learn, improve, or enhance current operations
• Manage upward when appropriate to get a problem resolved or process improved
• Communicate internally and externally with diplomacy and tact
• Operate in a fast-paced environment and effectively prioritize daily competing priorities
• Working knowledge of common MS Office applications such as Excel and Word
• Must be able to work independently
