Job Title: Senior Acoustic Consultant
Location: Dublin
Salary: EUR50,000 – EUR60,000 + Benefits

A specialist multidisciplinary consultancy is seeking a Senior Acoustic Consultant to join its growing team in Dublin. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced professional with strong technical expertise in building acoustics, environmental noise, and vibration assessment to take on a leadership role in delivering high-quality consultancy services across Ireland.

As a Senior Acoustic Consultant, you will be responsible for project delivery, client liaison, and technical reporting across a wide variety of infrastructure, commercial, and residential projects. You will also have the opportunity to mentor junior staff and play a key role in supporting the growth of the Dublin office.

Duties for the role of Senior Acoustic Consultant include:

Leading acoustic and vibration assessments across multiple sectors
*

Conducting site visits, noise surveys, and modelling work
*

Preparing Environmental Statement chapters and technical reports
*

Managing client relationships and supporting business development
*

Mentoring and supporting junior consultants in project delivery
*

Coordinating with multidisciplinary teams to ensure high standards

Skills and experience required for the role of Senior Acoustic Consultant:

Degree in Acoustics, Physics, or a related discipline
*

Minimum of 5 years’ experience in acoustic consultancy
*

Strong knowledge of building acoustics, environmental noise, and vibration
*

Proficiency with acoustic modelling software (e.g. CadnaA, SoundPLAN, Odeon)
*

Excellent communication and report writing skills
*

Membership of the Institute of Acoustics desirable
