NonStop Care are working with a well established Island authority, who are looking for an experienced social worker to join their Adolescents & Exploitation service in a locum capacity!

This role offers you the unique opportunity to work in a beautiful island location, meaning you will get away from the regular hustle & bussle of life, which will ultimately help improve your overall work satisfaction.

In this position you will be paid outside ir35, meaning at the end of a hard week you’ll come home with more money in your pocket!

Responsibilities –

* To safeguard and support children and young people at risk of or affected by child exploitation and missing episodes
* Focus on contextual safeguarding as an approach to addressing risks outside of the home, including exploitation, peer influences, and community environments
* Working with children on the edge of care, supporting interventions to prevent family breakdown and improve stability

Requirements –

* Experience working in child protection, safeguarding, and exploitation-related roles.
* Strong understanding of the contextual safeguarding approach and risk outside of home
* Valid SWE Registration
* Up to date DBS
