Job description

The AFC Manager has the responsibility to manage the Finance, Accounting and Controlling function of the subsidiary by ensuring financial management systems and processes to facilitate business decisions.Key Activities

• Benchmarking and best practice reviews to optimize processes
• Compliance testing
• Company Secretary (e.g. HR management, management of leasing contracts, management of legal and tax issues)
• Group reporting, financial, accounting and controlling reporting
• Group risks assessment and planning of controlling and audits
• Review and continuous improvement of all AFC processes (i.e. PtP, OtC, Finance and Treasury, Tax, Financial closing based on Corporate processes)
• Support to Corporate Projects
• Support country organization with respect to consolidation budgeting and reporting
• Finance management
• Monitoring Inventory/stock management
• Monitoring tax management
• Managing Payroll process and monitoring Labour Cost
• Accountancy

Technical Competencies

• Excellence understanding of finance, accounting principles (IAS, GAAP,IFRS) and internal controls
• Profound knowledge of Local Government Tax regulation
• Excellence knowledge of financial reporting, financial statements, balance sheets, cash flow reports, budgets, budget-to-actuals and financial projections
• Strong ability in providing accurate and comprehensive financial information for long-term financial strategy
• Strong ability to provide crucial financial data to coordinate all financial planning functions with business operations
• Strong negotiation ability of vendor agreements, financial contracts, financing agreements and insurance policies
• Complete knowledge in accounting

Education & Training
Degrees: Master, bachelor’s degree or specialization in finance/accounting
Language: Mother Tongue German and Fluent English is a must; Italian could be a plus.
Others professional training: Minimum of 5 years post-qualification experience in financial accounting within business, at least 3 of which will be at Controller level, or equivalent.
