Job role: Agricultural Equipment Mechanic
Location: Blackburn
Type: Permanent
Working Hours: Monday – Friday 8:00am – 17:00pm. Every other Saturday 8:00am – 12:30pm
Salary: From £35,000

We are delighted to be working with a fantastic new client based near Blackburn assisting them with their business growth, we are looking to speak with experienced Agricultural Mechanics who are looking to work as part of a team to assemble, repair, run routine maintenance & operate a variety of ground care & agricultural equipment & vehicles.

Role Responsibilities:
• Perform preventive maintenance and tune-ups to equipment; replace parts as needed.
• Perform maintenance, repair, and adjustments to mechanical and electrical attachments to grounds equipment; troubleshoot, identify and repair electrical malfunctions of grounds equipment and attachments.
• Requisition parts and supplies and maintain inventory.
• Operate a variety of grounds/grounds maintenance tools and equipment.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
• Maintain regular attendance.
• Maintains a clean and safe repair shop.
• Tracks inventory of parts and tools needed for repairs and maintenance and maintains routine records related to equipment maintenance and repair activities.

Ideal Candidate:
• Proven experience and or qualifications in plant and agricultural machinery in a mechanical capacity.
• Highly organised and able to manage own workload.
• Full clean driving licence is required.
• Excellent customer service skills.
