The adventure begins right here, with you, at SITA.PURPOSEAs AI Engineer Apprentice, you will have the opportunity to learn from and assist the AI Product Technical Lead in various aspects of AI engineering, technical leadership, and product development. This apprenticeship offers an invaluable experience to develop your skills in AI engineering and contribute to the success of our AI products.KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Collaborate with the AI Product Technical Lead to translate project requirements into scalable Python applications and tools.
• Develop, optimize, and maintain backend components, APIs, and scripts that support AI model integration and deployment.
• Implement data processing pipelines in Python, leveraging libraries such as Pandas, NumPy, and implement efficient CI/CD workflows.
• Support AI model development by building robust infrastructure for training, testing, and deploying machine learning models.
• Contribute to model evaluation processes by developing testing frameworks and ensuring performance and accuracy standards are met.
• Work closely with AI Engineers, Data Scientists, and Flight Operations Experts to integrate AI-driven features into production systems.
• Maintain clear documentation of codebases, processes, and project progress to support team collaboration.
• Actively participate in technical discussions, proposing innovative solutions and improvements for AI-related projects.
• Continuously develop skills in AI engineering practices and Python development, learning under the mentorship of the AI Product Technical Lead.

Qualifications:EDUCATION & QUALIFICATIONS

• Currently enrolled in a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree program in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• Strong interest in AI and machine learning concepts.
• Proficiency in programming languages such as Python.
• Proficiency in Python and experience with libraries such as Pandas, NumPy, and scikit-learn.
• Familiarity with data preprocessing, feature engineering, and model evaluation techniques.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Detail-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Self-motivated and eager to learn and contribute to a dynamic team environment.
