Overview
We are seeking a skilled and reliable Air Conditioning Engineer to join a growing team operating in and around Reading. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in installation, maintenance, and servicing of VRF and split air conditioning systems across commercial and/or residential sites.
Key Responsibilities
Installation, servicing, and maintenance of air conditioning systems Working with VRF/VRV systems and split/multi-split systems Fault finding, diagnostics, and repairs Carrying out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) Ensuring all work complies with current health & safety regulations Completing job reports and documentation accurately Providing excellent customer service on-site Requirements Essential Certifications & Cards
FGas Certification (Category 1) – mandatory IPAF (Powered Access Licence) – required CSCS Card (valid) Eligible to work under CIS scheme Experience
Proven experience working on VRF/VRV systems Strong background with split and multi-split systems Experience in commercial environments preferred Ability to work independently and as part of a team Skills & Attributes
Strong fault-finding and problem-solving skills Good communication and customer-facing ability Ability to manage workload and meet deadlines Full UK driving licence (preferred) Experience with major manufacturers (e.g. Daikin, Mitsubishi, Fujitsu) Additional HVAC qualifications
