Airfreight Forwarder / Freight Forwarder

Main responsibilities of a Freight Forwarder / Freight Forwarding:

* Planning and arranging collections and deliveries – Logistics
* Liaising with customers, carriers, suppliers, shipping lines, port authorities etc. by telephone, email etc
* Obtaining the necessary paperwork, Bill of ladings etc
* Admin / Administration support to all parties
* Data input / Data entry and general admin

Skills and qualities:

* Previous experience in Airfreight and general forwarding
* Knowledge of customs declarations in freight forwarding/logistics is an advantage
* Ability to work under pressure (deadlines), independently and within a team
* Attention to detail, competent in Microsoft, Outlook, and ability to learn new procedures
* Be driven and self-motivated
* You must be able to work under your own initiative to find solutions for complicated logistics movements from start to finish
* At times you are responsible for your own profitability

Essential Experience

We are looking for someone who has experience as an Airfreight Forwarder / within this field. Be able to expedite complex logistical movements spanning multiple countries.

* As a Freight Forwarder
* In Logistics
* In Airfreight / Road freight
