Req ID 78853 | Bielsko-Biała TCB, Poland, ZF Steering Systems Poland Sp. z o.o.About the teamWe are looking for a new colleague to our Engineering Center in Bielsko-Biała, which focuses on designing mechatronic systems, prototype production and testing as well as acoustic and mechanical validation and software development for electric power steering systems (EPS). We currently employ about 300 people.What you can look forward to as Algorithm & Controls Developer – Simulink (m/f/d):

• Development of Steering Features for internal and external customer projects, related to classical steering and future Steer-by-Wire products, from concept phase to series code,
• Development of classical and modern controllers and/or logics with regard to implementation in the software,
• Proof of concepts in simulation and software prototypes for new functions and requested changes, which can be experienced on the test bench,
• Model-based system analysis to evaluate the control behavior and system stability,
• Deliver verified functions, implemented in Software using Model Based System/Software Engineering methodologies applying automated code generation,
• Leading technical alignments internally and with external customers on concepts, requirements, and designs.

Your profile as Algorithm & Controls Developer – Simulink (m/f/d):

• Engineer´s degree or PhD with background in mechatronics, software, electronics, physics, controls, or a similar field of study,
• Minimum three years working experience as a controls design engineer, working experience in steering or related engineering fields is preferred,
• Strong experience in model-based development of functions using MATLAB/Simulink and dSPACE Targetlink,
• Skills in Software development regarding AUTOSAR, SW Architecture, Integration and Build enabling independent accomplishment of SW Prototyping are beneficial,
• Strong communication, negotiation and presentation skills, fluency in English (German is beneficial), willingness for travelling along with cross-cultural competence.
