     Depending upon candidate’s experience, the position can be filled as an Analyst II, III, or Sr.

Job Summary/Purpose

Provides leadership and guidance on project assignments and analysis for a functional area.

Job Duties/Responsibilities

-Validates the accuracy of filings
-Manages records and communications per company guidelines
-Stays abreast of regulatory or political changes that may impact Entergy policy decision making.
-Defines protocols and requirements for data quality control and ensures that all analysis and project work adhere to requirements.             
-Provides industry expertise and applies best practices to project work based on experience.
-Interacts with leadership throughout the organization to understand issues requiring analysis.   
-Manage, coordinate, and assist in project management, goal setting and other related areas.

              

Minimum Requirements

-Strong analytical, problem solving and critical thinking skills. 
-Attention to details. 
-Self-starter and requires minimal supervision. 
-Advanced PC skills, experience in data analytics, Microsoft Office and other business applications
-Strong ability to develop detailed spreadsheets required. 
-Excellent organizational skills and project management skills. 
-Effective oral and written communication skills. 
-Willing and able to perform other duties as required and learn new processes and technologies.
 

Desired Requirements

-Understanding of rates and riders
-Familiarity with regulatory policies and procedures.
 

Minimum education required of the position

Bachelor’s Degree in a technical or business-related field required, or equivalent work experience, Master’s Degree and Regulatory affairs experience are a plus.

                            

Minimum experience required of the position

Analyst II – 2-4 years of professional experience

Analyst III – 4-6 years of professional experience

Analyst Sr – At least 6 years of professional experience                  

Minimum knowledge, skills, and abilities required of the position

Analytical skill set with advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office: Word, Excel, PowerPoint.  Cognos and Power BI experience a plus.
