Location: CraigavonHours: 37.5 Hours (Flexi Time)Salary: CompetitiveBusiness Unit: Pharma ServicesOpen To: Internal & External ApplicantsRef No.: HRJOB10337The RoleWorking as part of the Pharma Services Business Unit, the post holder’s objective to provide technical leadership and coaching for Senior Analysts, Analysts and Technicians and enable the delivery of complex projects.The post holder will manage the progress of Analytical work to GMP requirements and ensure that project schedules are met and that the work is carried out efficiently and accurately, providing regular updates to their Analytical Team Leader/Group Leader.For a full list of job specific responsibilities please see attached Job Description.Essential Criteria

• BSc (or equivalent) in Chemistry or a Life Science subject with a significant chemistry component
• Significant experience of analysing Pharmaceutical drug products in a GMP environment
• Significant experience of :

• HPLC Analysis
• Dissolution Testing
• Stability study design and testing
• HPLC method Development
• HPLC method Validation
• Dissolution Method Development
• Dissolution Method Validation
• Experience of supervising and managing cGMP laboratory activities and staff
• Experience of leading analytical development activities in support of Pharmaceutical development projects.
• Understanding of the pharmaceutical drug development process.

Desirable Criteria(The following criteria may be applied if a large pool of applicants exist)

• MSc/PhD (or equivalent) in a Chemistry or Life Science with a significant chemistry component
• Experience of using statistical data analysis techniques
• Experience of preparing CMC regulatory submission documentation.
