Working in the tech team at Doctolib involves building innovative products and features to improve the daily lives of care teams and patients. We work in feature teams in an agile environment, while collaborating with engineering, design, and business teams.

Doctolib is currently seeking an experienced Analytics Engineering Manager to lead a team of 6-7 individuals in the Patient & Foundation domain. As an Analytics Engineering Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the end-to-end data lifecycle, from data extraction to publication. Our approach to data assets is product-oriented, and we have a modern tech stack with innovative projects in the pipeline.

What You’ll Do:

• Manage and grow the AE Patient & Foundation team, directly managing 6-7 engineers.
• Define the technical roadmap in alignment with Tech & Product goals
• Work closely with Data Product Managers to help to iterate on Data Products
• Collaborate with Data & Machine Learning Platforms teams to empower innovation and make our stack performante, reliable and stable.
• Create a strong team culture aligned with our engineering standards and customer focus.
• Participate in hands-on work, including code reviews, grooming and design review

Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage a team of 6-7 individuals in the Patient domain, ensuring their professional growth and development.
• Oversee the entire data lifecycle, from data extraction to publication, ensuring high-quality and reliable data assets.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive data-driven decision-making and support various business initiatives.
• Bring a fresh perspective to the team, introducing new ideas and innovative approaches to analytics engineering.
• Engage in cross-team collaboration, working closely with the other 3 Analytics Engineering teams.

Who You Are:

• An Engineer at heart with previous experience leading engineering teams as a tech lead or people manager.
• An excellent leader with strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build and lead high-performing teams.
• Interested in working on an early-stage project with many challenges to solve and a fast iteration cycle.

Requirements:

• Proven experience in managing and leading a team of analytics engineers or data scientists.
• Strong technical background with expertise in data extraction, transformation, and visualization.
• Familiarity with product-oriented approaches to data assets and a passion for innovation.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
• Fluency in English and French (both written and spoken).
