Unsurprisingly, our Data team plays a pivotal role in driving Ageras’ success!Our Data department is organized into three specialized squads: Data Analytics, Data Modeling, and Data Platform, ensuring optimal efficiency and focus.We are now seeking a skilled Analytics Engineer to join our Data Modeling team, currently composed of 2 analytics engineers.As for our tech stack, we work with Python, AWS, Snowflake, Meltano, Terraform, Dagster, and dbt for data modeling. If you’re passionate about leveraging these tools to shape the future of FinTech, we’d love to hear from you!Your Role as an Analytics Engineer 👋As an Analytics Engineer, you will play a key role in transforming raw data into meaningful insights, ensuring data is not only accessible but also actionable for decision-makers across the organization. Your expertise will enable scalable analytics and reporting solutions, empowering stakeholders to drive business growth with confidence.Your responsibilities will include:

• Designing and maintaining scalable data models and datasets for business reporting and analysis.
• Developing and optimize dbt transformations for clean, reliable data.
• Collaborating with Data Modeling and Data Platform teams for smooth data integration and pipeline efficiency.
• Building and maintaining dashboards and visualizations in Looker or Tableau, tailored to business needs.
• Working with cross-functional teams to translate business requirements into insights.
• Ensuring data integrity through validation and monitoring.
• Promoting data literacy and self-service analytics across the organization.
• Contributing to the improvement of our analytics stack and workflows.

It’s a match if :

• You have 3+ years of experience in an Analytics Engineer or similar role (Data Analyst, BI Developer, Data Engineer).
• You’re proficient in Python and SQL, with a strong understanding of complex data transformations.
• You have expertise in data modeling and visualization tools (e.g., dbt, Looker, Tableau).
• You’re familiar with data warehousing solutions (e.g., Snowflake, BigQuery) and cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP).
• You can communicate complex data concepts in a clear, concise, and actionable manner.
• You possess a strong product sense and can empathize with business needs and customer challenges.
• You thrive in a collaborative environment, enjoy teamwork, and learn from others.
• You’re fluent in English, both written and spoken (Ageras is an international team!).
• You’re available to work from our office in Copenhagen.

Our recruitment process1️⃣ A 30′ introductory call with Annaïg (Talent Acquisition Specialist) to get to know each other and tell you more about Ageras.2️⃣ A 30′ discussion with August (Lead Analytics Engineer) to talk about your previous experiences and the role we’re offering.3️⃣ A 45′ business case presentation to assess your technical skills, followed by a 45′ meeting with the team.
