If so, this role might be perfect for you! As an Android Platform Engineer you will analyze and troubleshoot software issues at all levels-from the kernel to system and application layers. Most of your time will be spent investigating real-world problems, finding their root causes and delivering effective fixes. You’ll also have the opportunity to proactively identify potential issues and propose improvements.What You’ll Do:

• Analyze software issues and identify root causes
• Investigate problems across the entire technology stack
• Propose improvements to existing software
• Contribute to HarmonyOS subprojects, development and refactoring
• Collaborate with local and HQ teams to analyze and enhance system performance

Requirements: • 2+ years of experience with Android OS and application architecture

• Strong background in Android platform (kernel, system, applications)
• Proficiency in Java, C or C++ (standard libraries)
• Familiarity with toolchains, cross-compilation, profilers, packaging, ADB
• Experience with Gradle/Ant/Make Build
• Good English communication skills
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science or a related field

Nice to Have:

• Prior work and experience in the delivery or maintenance team (ideally the one dealing with a mobile phone system’s maintenance)
• Knowledge of system profiling and optimization techniques
• Practical experience with UML diagrams
• Understanding of hardware architectures (Arm Cortex-A/M4, etc.)
