We currently have a vacancy for an Application Architect (Java, Angular) fluent in English, to offer his/her services as an expert who will be based in Brussels, Belgium. The work will be carried out either in the company’s premises or on site at customer premises. In the context of the first assignment, the successful candidate will be integrated in the Development team of the company that will closely cooperate with a major client’s IT team on site.Your tasks

• Install, configure, monitor and troubleshoot application architecture;
• Manage complex architecture and integrate heterogeneous systems to it;
• Architecture and design of information systems;
• Review of the architecture of existing systems;
• Design and development of architecture components and building blocks (back-end/front-end);
• Analysis of the integration of different information systems;
• Data analysis and data modelling;
• Coordination of the implementation of the technical architecture;
• Assistance during relevant parts of testing, analysis, technical documentation, deployment, evaluation and reporting.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in IT or relevant discipline, combined with minimum 15 years of relevant working experience in IT;
• Minimum 3 years of proven expertise in Java, Angular and Weblogic or other JEE container, management;
• Good knowledge of Middleware systems (e.g. Weblogic Application Server, Oracle Service Bus);
• Good knowledge of messaging services and platforms (e.g. Java Message Service, Apache Kafka);
• Good knowledge of eUI and Akoma Ntoso: simple technology-neutral electronic representations in XML format of parliamentary, legislative and judiciary documents;
• Good knowledge of Relational DBMS and modelling tools;
• Good knowledge of microservices and architecture in the cloud;
• Certifications in Oracle Middleware and ITIL will be considered an advantage;
• Excellent command of the English language and good understanding of French will be an advantage.
