Application Engineer

EMEA

Location: Strykow                         

Join us as our dedicated Application Engineer and become the go-to expert for our products and systems across the EMEA region. If you are technically skilled, customer-focused, and quick to provide reliable information about the application, assembly, and specifications of our Optical Communications products, you’re the one we’re looking for!

RESPONSIBILITIES:

-Deliver compelling technical support, training, and presentations directly to our end customers, installers, or distribution partners,
-Be the trusted advisor to our customers, guiding them on product usage across various applications. Your ability to articulate benefits and create detailed part lists for system solutions will be key in responding to customer requests for quotes,
-Developing datasheets, technical papers, and customer responses as required, demonstrating your technical expertise,
-Offer exceptional pre-and post-sales customer support, involving product recommendation, system design, installation training, testing, and troubleshooting on-site,
-Liaise with our Development/Product Line Management teams, providing valuable feedback regarding product evaluation, enhancements, and standards compliance.
 

REQUIREMENTS:

-An Engineering Degree or comparable education,
-2-5 years of work experience, preferably in the Telecommunication Industry,
-Excellent English communication, both written and spoken,
-Proven Technical Support experience, demonstrating customer orientation, solution provision, and timely responses,
-Good hands-on skills,
-Proficiency in MS Windows-based applications,
-The ability to break down complex technical ideas for customers/colleagues of varying technical abilities,
-A collaborative spirit, eager to support, learn from, and share knowledge with others,
-An energetic personality with a commitment to continuous learning.
 

NICE TO HAVE:

-Knowledge and experience in Enterprise and Data Center Network Design,
-Familiarity with active equipment applications like Ethernet switches, IP routers, OLT/ONT, etc.
-Proficiency in additional EMEA languages would be a significant plus.
 

Travel Requirements: Travel may be required up to 25% of your working time.
