As a hands-on expert in Ansys scripting products, you will use advanced-level engineering and programming knowledge to develop and deploy automation workflows, perform professional services, and help translate customer requirements into exciting new product features. You will be working within multi-disciplinary global teams to advance your knowledge, experience and business impact.

• Design, develop, implement, and deploy automation workflows using Ansys scripting tools (especially around Python/PyAnsys).
• Learn quickly and enable both internal and external stakeholders with new technologies being built at Ansys.
• Lead/Assist in coordinating and executing all technical activities throughout the sales opportunity lifecycle.
• As a product expert with one or more Ansys products, interact with customers to understand their product design needs and engineering design workflows; analyze how to address customers’ requirements using Ansys products and platform; articulate Ansys’ value proposition
• Collaborate with the Ansys product development teams to translate customer requirements into exciting new product features; test new releases of Ansys products on industrial problems
• Support Ansys field and digital marketing
• Contribute to consulting services, conduct introductory and/or intermediate training classes

• PhD or MS in Electrical/Electronic Engineering, Mechanical/Aerospace Engineering, or related field. BS with at least 2 years of commercial experience using object-oriented languages like Python. BS+2 or Masters/PhD
• Strong understanding of Python and Python-based UI frameworks.
• Demonstrated use of relevant Ansys software or knowledge of other commercial CAE, CAD, EDA, PLM software packages.
• Experience with Git version control system for collaborative and organized development.
• Strong organizational and time management skills possess a sense of urgency.

• Proven experience with one of core Ansys software such as Fluent, AEDT or Mechanical and PyAnsys.
• Preferred education and years of professional experience in an engineering software environment: MS+3, or PhD+0
• Ability to multitask and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent verbal and written English communication skills.
• Ability to travel as required.
