We are now looking for a colleague to join our team in Rungis, France as an Application Engineer Manager.

Job Overview: As an Application Engineer Manager you will provide technical support and trainings to customers and Sales for Thermal products and solutions. You will be responsible for the development of technically and price competitive applications for Thermal products to fulfill customer requirements where standard products do not fit. You will also work closely with consultants to understand their requirements and collaboratively develop effective solutions.

What you’ll do? As a key team player, your responsibilities include:

• Leading a team of Application Engineers of up to 10 and ensure they meet their targets and works in according to all policies and regulations.
• Involved in Marketing and Business Development by providing input for whitepapers, social media and other marketing means of communication.
• Ensures the prioritization of activities in partnership with various stakeholders.
• Review RFQs and identify customer requirements/specifications.
• Provide sales and pre-sales support with technical support of product specifications and applications.
• Attend customer meetings with Sales manager as a technical expert.
• Create product and application presentations for customers and consultants.
• Visit consultants on a regular basis, owning the relationships and collaborate in developing effective solutions.

What makes you successful? Bring your passion and expertise with:

• School Background: engineering background or equivalent education with proven field experience.
• Previous working experience: extensive experience in LOB products and installation, especially for Datacenter or equivalent.
• Solid experience matured in adjacent markets and in similar positions.
• Language skills: fluent English written and verbal required; second language of the in-scope group is nice-to-have.
• Experience in quoting/proposing/installing/ managing projects.
• Proficient in using C1 and Oracle Sales Cloud.
• Experience with AutoCAD or similar CAD systems.
• High focus on customer needs.
