As the Applications Specialist will be one of the main points of contact for the customers and responsible for advanced applications support of new and existing customers.What You Can Expect:

• Provide advanced applications support of existing Hologic customers, training of new customers on relevant product portfolio and fully competent customer support throughout the opportunity stages (including pre-site and site assessment).
• Assist users in the effective utilization of Hologic products, advanced applications’ troubleshooting and commercial support during conferences and trade shows.
• Responsible for identifying growth opportunities to existing customer base and gathering insights from competitive accounts to identify potential opportunities.
• Participation in the creation of training material and support in its distribution to the customer base.
• Work in close collaboration with Sales, Field Service Engineering, Marketing, Technical Solutions and Customer Service to ensure customers receive a first-class experience.

What We Expect:

• Bachelor’s degree in Life Sciences, a PhD would be beneficial in Molecular Diagnostics or related field.
• Fully competent in the laboratory setting and advanced experience as applications in relevant field. Experience as an Applications Specialist / Sales Applications Specialist is ideal.
• Able to demonstrate commercial acumen.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to convey complex information clearly and effectively (both written and verbally).
• Capable of gathering customer insights and feedback on potential product improvements.
• Demonstrates advanced analytical, troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Language skills: Spanish and English fluent.
• Possession of a valid driving licence in the relevant category.
• Willingness to travel extensively for the role (70 – 80%).
