Apprenticeship Data Privacy in HR Legal Department

L’Oréal is looking for an Apprenticeship in Data Privacy in HR for Legal

Duration : 12 month

Beginning : January 2025

Context :

The Human Resources Legal Department, specialized in data security, has the mission of supporting employees and HR teams in order to guarantee the compliance of personal data management practices, to secure sensitive information relating to employees and to defend the interests of the Group in terms of data protection on a global scale.

Main Missions :

The intern’s mission will be to support the entire HR Legal Department team:

• Privacy Implementation and Adaptation of a global Human Resources Information System (HRIS) ;
• Structuring Responsibilities between various legal entities, including managing contractual agreements and delivering training sessions to local privacy, legal, HR, and IT teams ;
• Teamwork with IT corporate experts, to implement some technical adaptations to the global HRIS in specific countries ;
• Contributing to L’Oréal’s strategic Data Privacy vision by incorporating best practices and legal requirements from different regions.

In this position, the apprentice will develop :

• Legal expertise in European privacy regulations and other jurisdictional frameworks, including Asia and the Middle East. Ability to navigate diverse regulatory environments ;
• In-depth expertise in a wide range of data privacy issues, particularly those arising from social media activities, employer branding, labor relations, and employment law;
• Implementation skills on a global framework for the management of sensitive data
• Experience in framing privacy responsibilities among entities and across the organization ;
• Role in the automation of L’Oréal’s Data Subject Access Request (DSAR) management system.

Profile :

• Level of studies and/or specialty: Law school and/or Master 2 level ;
• Language proficiency: English ;
• Main desired qualities: Open-minded, curious, Diplomacy, Analytic Minded and interested in Legal issues but also Tech and IT.
