Following a “local-to-local” strategy, the group is the market leader in the technology- and customer-driven Central and Eastern European online travel agency market with its 11 online travel products, more than 80,000 bookable accommodation partners, and a team of more than 500 people, being part of Wirtualna Polska’s travel portfolio since late 2022.As a Senior AR Manager you will be part of a Regional Finance team.How could the Senior AR Manager help Szallas’s growth?

  • be responsible for the design and coordination of the AR processes across Szallas Group
  • take part in process improvement projects
  • supervise the delivery center’s staff In all AR related topics (assigning tasks, sending out reminders, collections etc.)
  • perform monitoring and control tasks
  • perform operational KPIs for vaious Szallas Group brands in the AR field
  • lead discussions to deliver process efficiency and create transparency on opportunities
  • keep contact with different stakeholders
  • provide your team with people and performance management support

Expectations

  • BSc or MSc degree, preferably specialized in Finance, Accounting or Economics
  • at least 5 years of accounts receivable and debt collections experience
  • experience in managing teams, projects, and stakeholders
  • proficiency in English
  • ability to use MS Office applications effectively, Excel in advanced level
  • client orientation
  • accuracy and ability to work as a team player precisely under pressure and with tight deadlines, independently in a fast-changing environment
  • responsible and accountable with ownership mindset
  • the ability to understand processes, make suggestions for improvement
  • domain knowledge of E2E AR and collections processes including VAT rules, bad debt handling, query handling and quality & control
