Architectural Technician

Location: Chichester

Salary: GBP34-38,000

An established, design-focused architectural studio based in Chichester is looking to appoint an Architectural Technician to join its friendly and collaborative team. The practice has a strong reputation for people-focused design, creating well-considered and engaging environments across a variety of sectors. Its portfolio includes education, residential, health and leisure projects, as well as specialist schemes.

Key Responsibilities:

* Producing and developing detailed architectural drawings, specifications, and technical information
* Supporting project delivery across all technical stages, including coordination with consultants and contractors
* Assisting with planning applications, construction drawing packages, and BIM model development
* Ensuring designs comply with UK Building Regulations, relevant standards, and best practice detailing
* Working closely with architects, designers, and the wider technical team
* Supporting quality control procedures and maintaining accurate project documentation
* Assisting with the preparation of visualisations, schedules, and presentation material

Skills & Experience:

* Qualification in Architectural Technology or a related discipline
* Demonstrable experience producing technical and construction information within an architectural practice
* Proficiency in Revit and other architectural software such as AutoCAD and BIM tools
* Strong knowledge of UK Building Regulations, construction methods, and technical detailing
* Ability to produce clear, accurate, and well-structured technical drawings and documentation
* Confident communicator with strong organisational skills and a collaborative approach
* Proactive mindset with a commitment to delivering high-quality design and technical outcomes
