Architectural Technician

Location: Northamptonshire

Salary: GBP38-44,000

An exciting opportunity is available for a talented and driven Architectural Technician to join a well-established, expanding architectural practice in Northamptonshire. This role offers the chance to work on a varied portfolio of high-quality residential and commercial projects within a collaborative, design-focused studio environment.

Key Responsibilities

* Produce detailed technical drawings, specifications, and full construction packages.
* Assist in design development, ensuring practicality, buildability, and regulatory compliance.
* Work closely with project teams to deliver projects on schedule and to a high standard.
* Liaise and coordinate with external consultants, contractors, and statutory authorities.
* Carry out site surveys and attend site inspections as required.
* Keep current with building regulations, industry standards, and emerging best practices.

Key Requirements

* Previous experience in an Architectural Technician role.
* Degree or relevant qualification in Architectural Technology or a related discipline.
* Skilled in AutoCAD and Revit.
* Strong understanding of UK building regulations, construction methods, and detailing.
* Excellent communication, collaboration, and organisational abilities.
* Proactive, detail-oriented, and solutions-focused mindset.
