The team
The services delivery team manage and administer loans and grants for energy saving and low or
zero carbon improvements to homes and businesses on behalf of governments, local authorities,
and businesses.

The role
You will be part of our Edinburgh based Services Delivery team and assist in the managing and
delivery of Scottish Government funded projects that aim to help people across Scotland create
warmer homes, reduce their energy bills, and lower their carbon footprint.
What you’ll do
- Manage day to day delivery of projects by working closely with the Programme Development
and Delivery Manager, ensuring targets in the Scottish Government work plan are met, customer
service is maintained at a high level, applications are processed, and queries are responded to
within agreed service level agreements. - Line manage several direct reports to ensure delivery of programme targets, work with the
Programme Development and Delivery Manager and other team leaders to ensure team
responsibilities are covered. - Ensure we deliver a world class customer experience for our loans and grants recipients,
focussing on continuous improvement. - You will own and develop relationships with key stakeholders and will identify opportunities
for growth of the team’s work, provide input to proposals and build capacity and competencies
within the team.
What you’ll bring
- You will have excellent attention to detail, organisational skills and demonstratable
numerical skills. - Excellent communication, interpersonal and relationship management skills, proven ability
to develop and maintain strong, productive relationships with stakeholders. - Resilient, able to work under pressure and to motivate the team to meet challenging
targets. - Strong and effective leadership skills, able to inspire, lead and develop others, and
strong people management and coaching skills. - The ability to work independently and to plan and prioritise multiple competing activities is
essential in this fast-paced environment. - Demonstrated experience of operational management.
This is a permanent full-time position. Our standard weekly hours are 37.5 hours, Monday to
Friday.
We are open to flexible working locations (within the UK) and as standard we offer all
contracts on blended (home and office-based) working.
