Assistant Ecologist

Due to a steadily increasing order book, we are currently seeking an assistant ecologist to
join our friendly team. We are looking for people that have a good understanding of terrestrial
habitats and protected species survey techniques, and have great communication and
report-writing skills.

We are inviting professionals with previous or current experience to apply. Core
responsibilities of the position will include:

• Completion of baseline ecological habitat surveys
• Completion of protected species surveys
• Liaising and working with specialist sub-consultants (as required)
• Preparation of reports and data handling to support site and other survey work

Key requirements for the role are:

• Appropriate degree/professional qualification(s)
• Preferably a minimum of 2 years (or survey seasons) experience
• IT skills with knowledge of full Microsoft Office package
• A full UK driving licence
