Alton Towers Resort is looking for a dedicated and dynamic Assistant Front Office Manager to join our Hotel Operations Team.As our Assistant Front Office Manager, you’ll play a pivotal role in managing the Front of House department, ensuring every guest receives a magical and seamless experience from check-in to check-out. Our reception is the first port of call for guests staying at the Resort, and we’re looking for someone who can bring energy, enthusiasm and excellence to this crucial role.What You’ll Be Doing:Oversee the day-to-day operations of the Front Office team, ensuring smooth and efficient guest service.Lead, motivate and coach the team to consistently deliver exceptional service and achieve guest satisfaction and audit targets.Recruit, retain and develop team members to maintain a high-performing and engaged workforce.Resolve guest enquiries and complaints with professionalism and creativity, ensuring lasting positive impressions.Ensure hotel standards and procedures are followed to create unforgettable guest moments.Collaborate with other departments to maximise room occupancy and drive revenue.Monitor departmental performance and identify opportunities for cost control and increased profitability.Maintain high standards of hospitality, ensuring all reception areas are welcoming, clean and well-managed.What We’re Looking For:Excellent interpersonal and leadership skills with a hands-on and proactive approach.Previous experience in a leadership or supervisory role within a hotel Front Office environment.A solid understanding of Front of House systems such as Opera, VingCard, Alice, and Ariane (advantageous).Strong computer skills, particularly in MS Office.Well-organised with the ability to multitask and solve problems effectively.A good general education and a background in the hospitality or hotel industry.
