Offer DescriptionTadeusz Kościuszko Cracow University of Technology ANNOUNCES A COMPETITION FOR THE POSITION OF ASSISTANT IN THE RESEARCH-TEACHING STAFF GROUP At the Department of Computer Science Employment: full-time (1 FTE) Number of positions: 2 Type of employment contract: permanent Academic discipline: Technical Computer Science Required qualifications: • A MSc diploma in area of Computer Science or similar, • Aptitude for teamwork in a research setting and for working with students (teaching and supervising theses), • Pedagogical qualifications or a commitment to complete them within the first year of employment, • Declaration that Cracow University of Technology will be the primary place of employment, • Proficiency in English at a minimum level of B2. Additional requirements: • A proven track record of scientific research (e.g. publications, confirmed by conference participation) and interdisciplinary research in the field of Technical Computer Science and Telecommunications or related areas, • Research experience in the development computations or machine learning or cybersecurity. Job responsibilities: • Conducting classes and consultations with students, in accordance with the Cracow University of Technology employment regulations, • Active participation in the scientific activities of the department, • Participation in academic and teaching seminars, • Active involvement in organizational tasks of the department, • Other duties as assigned by the immediate supervisor, Participation in professional development training, Applying for research grants. Required documents: • Application to the Rector of Cracow University of Technology for employment as an assistant professor in the research and teaching staff group, • Detailed CV (including previous employment history), • Copies of documents confirming education, • List of scientific achievements / self-report, • Documents confirming teaching experience, • Confirmation of pedagogical training, • Personal questionnaire (available on the PK website – “Work at PK” section), • Document confirming foreign language proficiency, additionally for foreign nationals – confirmation of Polish language proficiency, • Declaration of Cracow University of Technology as the primary place of employment. Employment will follow a competitive recruitment process in accordance with Chapter VI of the OTM-R recruitment policy (attached to the announcement), consisting of: – Analysis of submitted documentation – Interviews (in person or via online communication platforms).
