The Finance and Business Affairs (FBA) Division is part of Professional Services and is divided into three sections: Finance Business Partnering, Financial Planning and Analysis and Finance Services

Estates Finance are part of the Finance Business Partnering directorate and are responsible for providing assistance with the production and preparation of budgets, forecasts and management accounting reports for the Estates teams and departments. Estates is responsible for the entire UCL Estates portfolio, including academic space, student residences, catering facilities and administration workspaces.

You will be a member of the Estates Finance Team, within the Professional Services Finance Business Partnering Team and will provide a tailored business partnering service to the Estates function on all matters financial. You will work alongside Estates Budget Holders and Managers to provide a tailored and customer focused business partnering service to their departments and areas of responsibility, at all times supporting and working closely with the Head of Estates Finance to meet Team objectives.

To do this job you’ll need:
To be a part qualified accountant actively studying for an accountancy qualification e.g. ACCA, CIMA
Experience of working in a Business Partnering role within a complex organisation
Experience of preparing budgets, forecasts, regular management reporting and KPIs within a large organisation
Expertise in delivering financial analysis and producing reports to non-finance staff, demonstrating measurable outcomes
Delivery of the Month End process e.g. accruals, deferrals and prepayment journals
Working collaboratively with team members and other teams Leading meetings with budget holders of different levels of seniority

Familiarity with Oracle e-business suite software
