Title: Assistant Manager, Facilities Department / Scotiabank (Ireland) Designated Activity Company, Ireland
Position Overview:
We have an exciting opportunity for an Assistant Manager to join the Facilities team, based in our Dublin office.
You will be contributing to the overall success of SIDAC, assisting the Facilities Senior Manager in ensuring smooth running of the Dublin office and ensuring specific individual goals, plans, and initiatives are executed.
The Facilities Assistant Manager is the first point of contact for the day-to-day running of all aspects of facilities management in Dublin, as well as assisting the Facilities Senior Manager with Business Continuity administrative tasks.
The responsibilities are wide reaching. They include but are not limited to liaison with Building Management and external contractors, implementing minor works, production of reports, helping prepare budgets and full involvement in the day-to-day running of the site.
What You’ll Do:
• Manage office space for c. 130 employees and contingent workers.
• Provides full support for provision of all essential services at the Bank’s offices in Three Park Place and ensures a safe, secure working environment for all employee and visitors.
• Disaster Recovery Sites – Responsible for ensuring the site is operational and stocked accordingly in preparation for any incident and assist in annual testing requirements.
• Member of the Bank’s Local Incident Management Team
• Support of the team’s business strategies and objectives are in compliance with governing regulations, internal policies, and procedures.
• Ownership of local vendor contracts and T&C’s agreements
• Involved with relationship management with multiple of suppliers of goods and services used within the premises. These include stationery items, furniture/fixtures/equipment, engineer, architectural and other professional services, and mechanical devices.
• Works closely with the facilities team (4) across Europe within the COO function.

• A strong understanding of health and safety requirements.
• A proven track record in a customer facing role in a sometime high-pressured office / facilities environment.
• Work with designated service partners to achieve superior levels of service for clients
• Demonstrates a high level of attention to detail and ability to plan and prioritise.
• Good communicator and presentation skills.
• Able to work independently and be a good team player.
