Offer DescriptionThe Department of Invertebrate Zoology and Parasitology of Faculty of Biology at the University of Gdańsk seeks applicants for Assistant Professor position.Where to apply WebsiteRequirementsResearch Field Biological sciences » Biology Education Level PhD or equivalentSkills/QualificationsA candidate for the position should have:

• Ph.D. degree in biological sciences;

• research experience and significant scientific achievements documented by publications in the last five years in indexed (impact factor) international scientific journals in the field of acaroentomology and taxonomy of the studied group of arthropods;
• documented cooperation with scientific institutions, including ability of obtaining and investigating materials for research on the studied group’s species diversity;
• experience in preparing research projects, documented by received and realized grants
• experience in academic teaching in the field of biology;
• good communicative skills in Polish and English languages that enable preparation and conducting classes in Polish and English.
